Hi all,
I am a newbie to GeoTools & am testing the JMapPane example (taking it as a
starting point) and trying to incoporate some code to display an icon at
certain co-ordinates on top of the map. But failed to do so.
Can some one please guide me in this respect. Actually the situation is that a
shape file is read and now i want to add an icon on top of the map displayed. I
do understand that it has to be done via layers and feature collections, but
don't know how to do that. Also, i don't want to save this new icon into the
shape file but want to keep this information in memory.
I will be really obliged, if anyone could help.
