Hello,
in my application a user can select a polygon (which represents a block of
houses) which must me split up in smaller polygons (separate houses). With a
line drawn across the polygon I want to divide the polygon automatically by
duplicating the line several times maintaining the same direction but
placing the lines apart from eachother across the polygon. I think this
method is called line sweeping, are there any methods for this? In the JTS
library I found some classes that have class names which look like they do
something with line sweeping, only I don't know how to use them in my
situation.
