Yes, that is what I'm using.
Subsequent investigation also led me to the classes in
unsupported/swing-widgets-pending that are worth investigating.

Can i therefore assume that the jar file you are using is the gt2-mappane
then? As i could not see any other type of jar file in the repo site.
cheers

I'm using JMapPane here. I just apply my Styles to the MapLayers
before adding them to the MapContext. It works OK, but I'd love to
be
able to increase the rendering performance somehow.
I'm thinking the StyledMapPane may have been dropped. I don't see it
anywhere in the 2.5.1 source tree.

Is it possible for a map context to be placed on a java context pane? or

on styledmappane because i still can't seem to find syledmappane jar file

Hi,
i'm trying to create a styled mappane object but i can't seem to find
the actual jar file for this on the repo site. I did manage to find
gt2-mappane but when i added this jar i got a runtime error being
[ERROR]Runtime Exception thrown during execution
[ERROR]null
does anybody know where i can find the gt-styledmappan jar file ?
Cheers
