Hi everyone,

I know that probably you are going to hate me for this but I still cannot
make geotools work in netbeans 6.5 (I've seen a similar post but it didn't
help)

I have netbeans 6.5 and maven plugin installed (on both win and ubuntu
8.10..I've been trying with both systems).

Does anybody can tell me how to start?
Do I really need maven? ..I mean, if I wanted to include the libraries
(taken from the .bin file) in a new project, would that work? (well...I
tried and it didn't..."packages don't exist!" the IDE says)...is there some
kind of tutorial that tells step-by-step what to do to make it work? (I
surfed every possible page but I couldn't make it).
I was able to build a maven project but I cannot compile the demos!

I'm using:
Netbeans 6.5 - Maven 4.0.5 (IDE plugin)
Geotools 2.5.2

On win IDE is on D:, maven on C: and I was trying to put (and then point)
the librraries in the jdk1.6.0_11 folder (on C)...am I doing something wrong
with the paths?
On linux I put everything in jdk folder inside my home folder.

Thanks
mitch
