Hi Greg, Not sure if you are an eclipse user but here is what I do:
In the Java perspective if you look in the right hand corner you will see a button with two arrows pointing in opposite directions, toolip "Link with editor". I set this button and then when I open types in the editor (via Ctrl+Shift+T for example), it will show you were the class is in the package explorer, be it another module, or an external library.
