You can download the source code jar manually here http://maven.geotools.fr/repository/org/geotools/gt-mappane/2.5-M3/ For Geotools 2.6, there is new code that is (I hope) somewhat simpler in how scaling / zooming calculations are done. It still needs work so any comments on it are much appreciated.
