Hi Michael,
hm, interesting. What I have actually done, is to use the 2.6-snapshot
of the process lib with the rest of my code being in 2.5.-snapshot. I
know this may not be a recommended way to do it, but becasue it is an
usupported module, I decided to stick with what is covered in the test
case. So, I am rather surprised that the static method does not work! I
looked at the source code and it should! :)
Indeed, it looks good, I have to give a look to the algorithm, because I
am intrigued by it, but it works (subjectively) quite fast in my opinion.
I have created some methods to convert the output (the feature
collection) to multigeometries, which is what I will need as I have to
communicate with other modules/services via GML, and will need to create
GML geometries. Furthermore, I needed to use some JTS functionality
(specially intersection).
I seem to have some problems with the extraction of the CRS from the
source coverage ReferencedEnvelope info, the resulting features have no
CRS attached, but it my be my mistake somewhere, I will have to
investigate closer.
Thanks for a very useful module, it is exactly what I needed and it also
saved me from tinkering with the GridCoverage2D serialization ,which
does not work for me for whatever reason. I will have to investigate
that closer too.
Cheers
Martin
