Hi,
I am using uDig. I have added a WMS layer from a geoserver installation
serving geotiff tiles.
When I use the info tool on uDig, under the hood it performs a wms query and
returns an html in containing the geotiff data in that particular location
in html format.
My question is that is the wms server query really necessary? I mean we
have already downloaded the raster data and rendered it. Can't we use it? I
guess we can but I don't know how?
Any ideas?
