Hi All,

In my application I need to filter on date/time. I want all features after a
certain date/time.

I create a filter with:
Filter filter = CQL.toFilter("datetime AFTER " + dateTimeAsString);

with dateTimeAsString in the format '2009-09-16T09:43:02Z'

I use PostGIS as data store with 'timestamp with timezone' as date/time
column.

My problem is that the filter gives all the features after
'2009-09-16T09:43:02' local time, not after '2009-09-16T09:43:02Z'

Is this a problem of geotools-cql or of gt-jdbc(-postgis) ?
Do I need to create a bug-report for this?
How can I work around this issue for now?

Have the developers ever considered using the Joda Time (
http://joda-time.sourceforge.net/) library for date/time handling?
