Niels,

org.geotools.xml.Configuration has been moved to gt-xsd-core.

There was a widespread xml/xsd package restructuring and renaming 
between 2.4 and 2.6. I had to port community-schemas from 2.4 to trunk 
(i.e. 2.6), so I recognise your confusion, having been there myself, but 
be assured that all the content is still present, just better packaged.

Ctrl-Shift-T in Eclipse should allow you to locate types that might have 
moved.
