This new panel will be shown or not according to the user.
He is whose should add
mapFrame.getPanel().add(tabbedPane,"grow");
Or remove
mapFrame.getPanel().remove(tabbedPane);
However,as is, this update only is done when pass the mouse on the
JMapPane.

Can you give me a little more information about what you're trying
to
do please: I'm not sure what you mean by "add a panel". Do you mean
a
new panel to be permanently shown as part of the frame ? If so, it
might be easiest for you to sub-class JMapFrame or even just take
the
code and hack it into your own class.
