To badbarba, The transform path might be like this:
WGS84 (lat, long, height) -> WGS84 (XYZ) -> for example, WGS 72 (XYZ) -> WGS 72 (lat, long, height) where: - WGS84 (lat, long, height) -> WGS84 (XYZ) is done by GeocentricTransform - WGS84(XYZ) -> WGS72(XYZ) is done by MolodenskiTransform. There are several WGS84 realizations of course, there are several parameter sets available for this kind of transformation. - WGS72(XYZ) -> WGS72(lat,long,height) is done by GeocentricTransform - the inverse transform I only know about datums using in US by the way. Hope this helps. -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/Fwd-geotools-dev-Need-to-convert-lat-long-from-a-ref-system-in-WGS84-to-different-ref-systems-express-tp4272609p4385534.html Sent from the geotools-gt2-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Throughout its 18-year history, RSA Conference consistently attracts the world's best and brightest in the field, creating opportunities for Conference attendees to learn about information security's most important issues through interactions with peers, luminaries and emerging and established companies. http://p.sf.net/sfu/rsaconf-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Geotools-gt2-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/geotools-gt2-users
