To badbarba,

The transform path might be like this:

WGS84 (lat,long,height) -> WGS84 (XYZ) -> for example, WGS 72 (XYZ) -> WGS
72 (lat,long,height)

where:

- WGS84 (lat,long,height) -> WGS84 (XYZ) is done by GeocentricTransform

- WGS84(XYZ) -> WGS72(XYZ) is done by MolodenskiTransform. There are several
WGS84 realizations of course, there are several parameter sets available for
this kind of transformation.

- WGS72(XYZ) -> WGS72(lat,long,height) is done by GeocentricTransform - the
inverse transform

I only know about datums using in US by the way. Hope this helps.
