Has this problem been solved yet? In my case, the exception appears when I try to instantiate the SimpleFeatureTypeBuilder class to build a feature type as suggested in this code snippet: http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOTOOLS/Upgrade+to+2.5#Upgradeto2.5-TransitiontoGeoAPISimpleFeature My environment: GeoTools 2.6.0, Java 6, Eclipse 3.4.1 Any help is appreciated!
