Looking at the GeoTools KML unit tests I see code like this... SimpleFeature f = (SimpleFeature) parser.parse( kml ); Collection coll = f.getAttribute( "Feature" ); ...with the collection being a collection of features. But in your tour.kml file the hierarchy seems to be several layers deeper than that. I think this might be a question for Justin - the main developer of the KML support module.
