Hello,
I am new to the GeoTools, I encountered the problem loading tiff files. I have
old raster map parts split into several files (blocks), each block has tiff,
aux and tab files. How to load such raster layers on top of the other layers?
I have run into GeoTiff and Image Plugin. The problem is that I can't find how
to install them at first and how to load the data.
I run demo.ImageLab, that should allow loading tiff files, but it crashes with
it:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: Trying to
get a reader from an unknown format. at
org.geotools.coverage.grid.io.UnknownFormat.getReader(UnknownFormat.java:62)
at org.geotools.demo.ImageLab.displayLayers(ImageLab.java:111) at
org.geotools.demo.ImageLab.getLayersAndDisplay(ImageLab.java:92) at
org.geotools.demo.ImageLab.main(ImageLab.java:66)
Any ideas and guides how to accomplish this?
