We have asked a couple of times polietly that you respect the time of the
volunteers on this list.
Let us consider Ian's message a warning.
Please treat others with consideration; we have yet to require the email list
blocking facilities and I would like to keep it that way.
Ian I have had some luck making the list archives searchable for the uDig site:

I wonder if we can add a similar snippet to the geotools site to make it easier
for people to search the email archives?
