Hi all.

In my application (a kind of survey app for investigate transport models),
users have to introduce their address, and start and end address of their
travels. Users will do this in a touch screen.
At present my app is showing the map on screen, and I can move the map, make
a zoom, and select the streets (when i click in a street with the info
tools-info action, a frame appears showin street´s name, postal code...and
the rest of info stored in the .shp).
Now I´m trying to show the street names in the map. I´ve readed the style
lab and I think i could achieve it, but it´s being hard ;)

That´s fine, but I think there´s a little problem... users will have to
search their direction manually, zooming the map until a known zone, moving
the map, zooming again until they can see a near street...etc. I think it
can be awful for some users, and others will be lost seeing the whole map.
Is there any posibility to place the map in a determined point introduced
manually, for example a postal code zone (this info is in the .shp file),
searching directly for street name... I´ve read something about filters for
searchs like this, but once you have found the feature/s searched, how to
place the map view in that area?

I´ve to investigate more once i´ve finished with styles (showing street
names), but if someone have suggestions, any help will be appreciated.

Thanks, and sorry again for my english ;)
