I stopped using maven because I didn't want to wait for the extra time
before running the application so I started downloading the libraries and
using them. Until geotools 2.7 RC1 everything was going fine but when I
started using geotools 2.7 RC2 it started asking me to use JAI and that some
jai classes could not be found. So I downloaded JAI several times! I tried
the JDK, JRE, classpath builds but none of them succeeded they all have the
same bug and it's a warning that states that you have to have JDK 1.3. I
googled it and found out that it should have been fixed in version 1.2.2 :P
though I downloaded it and had the same bug :P So I headed to uDig and
downloaded a jre packed with jai. After overwriting my jre with this one I
started the app and got an error because my system is 64 and the jre is a 32
:P so I not really having fun you can tell :P if I wanted to use maven back
again what are the dependencies and repositories for jai ? Thank you
