For anyone interested , JAI 1.1.2 has installation bugs ! It said it
requires JDK 1.3 or more even if it is available. They said they'd fix the
bug in 1.1.3. I hope it's fixed now because I don't like to use maven
(though it makes stuff easier). But the compilation time is increased. And
hopefully I'll go with the manual jar addition if this is the case.
