Hi John, The problem is now fixed in the branches/2.7.x sources. You can grab the code now from the source repository if you're building GeoTools locally, or wait a few minutes for the build server to crank out the next 2.7-SNAPSHOT jars.
See details of the changes here: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-3855 I haven't applied the fix to the trunk sources (version 8-SNAPSHOT) because the RasterToVectorProcess class has been superseded there by the newer org.geotools.process.raster.gs.PolygonExtractionProcess class. The Jira issue above includes a link to another issue explaining this, but the short story is that the fix will be applied to a class in the JAITools project which GeoTools version 8 uses for vectorizing.
