I am using the CNTLM proxy as the local proxy as I am working behind a corporate proxy.

Subject: [Geotools-gt2-users] Reg Creating a Maven Project in Eclipse
Hi all,
I am new to Geotools. I was going through the tutorial for Geotools present at http://docs.geotools.org/latest/userguide/tutorial/quickstart/eclipse.html .
Once I finish the 6th step of creating a new project(after pressing Finish), the following error comes up.
Could not resolve archetype org.apache.maven.archetypes:maven-archetype-quickstart:RELEASE from any of the configured repositories.
Could not resolve artifact
Failed to resolve version for org.apache.maven.archetypes:maven-archetype-quickstart:pom:RELEASE: Could not find metadata org.apache.maven.archetypes:maven-archetype-quickstart/maven-metadata.xml in local (/home/infra/.m2/repository)

Please help me out with fixing this error. Any help would be appreciated.
