How about trying the sextante library
http://sextante.forge.osor.eu/
it can directly take a GeoTools FeatureCollections as input and will also
return a FeatureCollection with an extra field containing the
classifications. It know it uses KMeans but it could also include some
others (i think a weighted kmeans also exists).
