Ideally what I'd like to see is to have the geotiff plugin interpret .prj
and .tfw
files as "overrides" compared to the geotiff files contents.
This would also solve the issue of users having tiff+tfw+prj and thinking
they
have a proper Geotiff (since that's what ESRI taught them, afaik),
choosing the geotiff store in geoserver, and then wondering why it does not
open up.
Would require some changes in the gt-geotiff module though...
