Hi Matthijs, To be honest, I can't remember why I coded the VectorToRaster.setBounds method that way. Looking at it now I can't think of a good reason not to just honour the input bounds, even for the case where they contain no features.
I'll create an issue for it and, unless someone else speaks up or I recall some long forgotten reason for the existing behaviour, I'll change the method.
