Hi Michael,
At the moment, the latest officially supported GDAL version is 1.7.3 which
is used by imageio-ext-1.1.5 (which is the core of the geootols GDAL based
modules)
However, the imageio-ext-1.1.x should support GDAL 1.9.2 starting from
version 1.1.6
We are working on it these days and I'm also preparing GDAL 1.9.2 native
libs for Linux.
