Thanks for the patch - I'll try to look at it this week. For point geometries or very simple line stings (e.g. urban streets) it would be fine, but for more convoluted features (e.g. highways, regional boundaries) a each case would generate a lot of WKT. On the other hand, if the WKT was displayed in a secondary dialog there could be a 'copy to clipboard' button...
