Is the issue "accumalate rendering buffer" fixed in 10.3 or 11?

Made a fix on master:

Haven't backported on the stable series as I don't have time to double check 
with a large-ish
amount of different maps right now (modifying the renderer is always tricky, 
tests are difficult 
to setup since each platform/jdk renders stuff in a slightly different way...).
