In a classroom setting your instructor would be the right person to ask :)
On the internet signing up to the email list here to discuss questions is
the best:
a) we try and encourage communication and open source participation - user
list being the first step
b) developers get continual exposure to that "initial learning curve"
encouraging us to keep it real
c) anyone shy who comes along later can find the discussion
This also gives a chance to update the examples over time (we just migrated
to Java 7 so the examples could benefit from some use of try-with-resource
syntax).
