The GeoTools community is happy to announce the release of GeoTools 13-beta

Please take a moment to try out your project with this new version of
GeoTools, as this is a beta release we would like your feedback on both
compatibility and some of the new features outlined below.
- Color blending has been added as a vendor extension for both feature
type style and symbolizers
- There is a new gt-css module that can be used for style generation
(from a CSS files)
- AbstractDataStore is (as promised) in the process of being retired.
The class is now deprecated, all data store implementations have been
migrated to ContentDataStore. If you need a hand making the migration

- The gt-wfs client has been improved (with better transaction support
and support for stored queries)
