Interesting, some of those jars listed are just out of date (gt-oracle-spatial has been replaced by gt-jdbc-oracle I believe).
I only get a chance to update these tutorials for real when I teach a workshop at foss4g, sadly it was not selected this year - but we do have a great DataStore workshop with Ian Turton.
