There are some LTS functions in the mix, if JTS has functionality like this
that you would like to use but that is not available as a function yet ...
please follow the function tutorial and send us a pull request :)
Advanced: In the specific case of a postgis backed datastore we can
recognize some functions and encode them as SQL.
