Hi,

I have used GeoTools 9 before and now upgraded to GeoTools 19 (as a uDig user).
Since ImageMosaic changed a lot, what is the correct way to create a new mosaic
with my own settings (using of absolute paths, different index directory,
caching option)? I looked at GeoServer, but there the index seems to get build
by GeoServer code. I also had a look at
https://github.com/geotools/geotools/blob/master/modules/plugin/imagemosaic/src/test/java/org/geotools/gce/imagemosaic/CatalogBuilderTest.java,
but it seems to be broke (throwing exceptions, test is on @ignore). The new
ImageMosaicFormat.getReader(directories) indexes the directories, but I can not
pass my own options. So on the setting of having several directories to index
and a different output directory for the index and own settings (see above),
what is the current way of the API? Did I miss any documentation?

Thank you for any help,
Hendrik
