These are way too old... the new features, fixes and improvements you mentioned do not exist in isolation, they build on top of many other changes that have accumulated over the years, that likely have had other targets (hence, difficult to spot), but contribute to make a particular fix work (or contribute to how that fix works and/or was designed). You can cherry pick some of those changes back, but ultimately the problem needs to be analyzed from start to end again, those versions of GT/GS are so old that it's like working on a different system.
