"Listen up all of you people defending maps: It's clear there are only
two possible reasons you would need a map. One is obvious (pirate
treasure). The second is a little more complicated, but clear enough
once analyzed. You see, someone who is unfamiliar with an area needs
directions, not a map. A map is designed to give specific, detailed
layouts of an area that would only be needed if you needed to
carefully plan a route (like for an attack or an escape). And,
naturally, possession of a map means you don't want to ask directions
because you don't want to draw attention to yourself or the fact that
you are not from 'round those parts. So what does this mean? If you
have a map, you are either a pirate or some other nefarious type.
Hence, maps should naturally be illegal and anyone in possession of
one should be shot on sight. It's as plain as the nose on my face."
