Hi! I'm moderating at panel at SXSW Interactive titled "Neocartography: Web Mapping Usability and Design Evolved". I'm very fortunate to have a great panel of speakers that agreed quite late to share their ideas and expertise on next generation mapping solutions and conveying them to a large audience of designers, developers, usability experts, and the public. The panelists are Elizabeth Windram (Google), Mike Migurski (Stamen), and David Heyman (AxisMaps). Hopefully these three powers combined: ubiquitous, artistic, and academic - can provide a wide look at the emerging tools and techniques, what can we learn from traditional concepts, and apply this to the broad range of users.
What I'm hoping you can do is provide insightful questions or discussion points via this Google Moderator panel: http://moderator.appspot.com/#15/e=21766&t=20ba6 We'll also be accepting questions via twitter on Sunday morning - 10AM CDT You can read more in-depth about the panel here: http://highearthorbit.com/sxsw-interactive-panel-neocartography/ Thanks!
