Howdy,
Where 2.0 is coming up this year and I just wanted to send out a
"formal" invite to the Geowanking list. ;-)
It's running from 5/19-21 in San Jose.
On the first day we're going to have a bunch of developer-oriented
workshops. It'll have content on hosted APIs, using R for geo,
Sketchup, Google earth, geo-oriented RIAs plus locating users on
mobile and the pc. IN the evening we'll have an Ignite and Startup
Launchpad.
The next two days will be plenaries with speakers from big companies,
researchers and startups (Google, msft, skyhook, yahoo, earthmine,
everyscape, nokia, mapquest, jack Dangermond).
Of course, the two days after Where 2.0 there will be Wherecamp. I'll
be there.
We're offering a pretty crazy discount in honor of Earth Day (but
really because we know times are tight). It's supposed to end today,
but if you ping me offlist by the end of this week I'll get you the
discount.
cheers,
brady
