Hi Mr Andrew, I forwarded your question regarding pitching a tent or bag to Ross Mayfield @ SocialText for clarity. Will followup.
Totally looking forward to seeing everybody as well! It will be awesome. Looks like we'll hit 300 uber-peeps given that we have 100 people already signed up and typically one sees a kind of exponential growth curve over the remaining week prior to the event ( modulo more awareness of the event ). I expect Saturday will be perhaps 50 to 100. One question I always ask myself is what can we do to curate a diversity of views and voices at Wherecamp? I'll push it back to y'all: What can we do to encourage new voices? If there's any person or kind of group you want to see at WhereCamp - please do mention it to them. And for those who may care : my own schedule puts me in Palo Alto Thursday night and then Portland Saturday night and then Banff Centre Canada on Monday morning. - anselm On Wed, May 13, 2009 at 8:49 AM, Andrew Turner <[email protected]> wrote: > finally finishing logistics for next week - and wanted to confirm that > we would be able to camp (tents/indoors/?) at SocialText at least on > Friday night. > > Is this the case? > > And for Saturday, what were the general thoughts/plans on where > everyone would be crashing? > > see many of you next week!! > Andrew > > _______________________________________________ > Geowanking mailing list > [email protected] > http://geowanking.org/mailman/listinfo/geowanking_geowanking.org > -- anselm 415 215 4856 http://hook.org http://makerlab.com http://meedan.net _______________________________________________ Geowanking mailing list [email protected] http://geowanking.org/mailman/listinfo/geowanking_geowanking.org
