Well you could always go along and influence the discussion instead of whingeing from the side lines. All the complaints about GeoDRM being a bad name/idea have been discussed but the NMA's have more people there so their view tends to dominate. If more opensource/opendata people came along to OGC meetings who knows what might happen.
