Hi all, I'm working on putting together a panel for the 2010 Nonprofit Technology Conference on - wait for it... GIS and Mapping!
I'm currently looking for speakers to be on the panel, ideally folks who have built a GIS/neogeo/PPGIS app for a NPO/NGO, or who otherwise have cool thoughts about mapping in the nonprofit sector. I did a similar panel last year and had Benji from iLoveMountains.org which was very well-received. Is anyone on the list working with a cool nonprofit/NGO/voluntary-sector group utilizing GIS? Do you have a favorite GIS success story in your community or region that I should be sure to check out? Also, if you want to help ensure that my GIS submission doesn't get overwhelmed by the dozens of "Raise Money on Facebook!" and "Twitter Will Save the World!" submissions, I'd appreciate your votes here - will just take a moment: http://nten.org/node/8446 :) Thanks!
