Good points, Stefan. These requirements need to be taken seriously by all 
involved for fear of disuading future data providers.

On the other hand, I dont' think even UNSD can claim copyright on the location 
of urban megacentres. There's enough 'prior art' out there to limit their case. 
The projections data? Yeah, I can see their right to those.
