Holas Andrew, It is time to start the planning again isn't it? A year went past so fast!
Here's what the timeline would be like then: Apr 16 Sat Wherecamp? Apr 17 Sun Wherecamp? Apr 18 Mon Apr 19 Tues http://where2conf.com/where2011 Apr 20 Wed http://where2conf.com/where2011 Apr 21 Thu http://where2conf.com/where2011 Apr 22 Fri Wherecamp? Apr 23 Sat Wherecamp? Apr 24 Sun Wherecamp? Easter http://www.wheniseastersunday.com/year/2011/ Tthe parents sure haven't gotten their way the last couple of times we collided with Easter - and more and more of us are succumbing to having children. Arguably we could give people with families their way this time? Heck, looking at this - and how big this is all getting - I do think we should pull it back to Friday if we can get a venue - OR - do it the weekend before. For venue could I throw in this suggestion -> the YMCA in the Marin Headlands rents out space although perhaps upwards of 5k or so (they want $15 per head for a day)... but maybe we can bargain? I can ask: http://www.ymcasf.org/what_we_offer/for_groupsschools/retreats_and_rentals Well - to push the initiative forward - how is 3 pm tonight for a skype chat (PST) for folks who would be interested in helping make it happen? a On Thu, Sep 23, 2010 at 7:58 AM, Andrew Turner <[email protected]> wrote: > With the Where2.0 CFP out, we should begin thinking about WhereCamp. > Particularly that Easter is the Sunday after Where2.0 this year.
