Did anyone else catch the irony of apple and google getting busted for applying the technology, but ignoring the fundamental design principal of the inventors back in '03* of 'privacy aware" wifi geopositioning by referring to a cached database locations of known wifi access points"

the history is interesting, but the question remains open, on how to provide locally relevant personalized contextual services ,and enhanced accuracy of crude realtime gps positioning with WiFi and other sensors while giving users completley transparent view of how location track logs are applied.
