Not a metric ton, but a lot nonetheless. Curiously, they call it Open Data
(note the Proper Case).

And they even publish their TOU

where they say very clearly that "The Terms do not grant to the User any right,
title or interest in or to any patent, copyright, or intellectual property
right(s) that the City and/or any third party may have in the Data, including
the Derivative Work."
Hmmmm... I would call the above more like "easily available data," not
necessarily open data, but whatever. Maybe that *is* what matters for the most
part.
