This is very good news. I'm hoping that this means  a bright future for geoRSS as a standard coordinate notation for geospatial hypermedia. (GeoRSS is a joint creation of open mappers and OGC leaders - see georss.org)   I also hope that this means that Google will resolve minor differences between KML/GML/WFS...
