I am writing an ACM article on smart, location-aware applications, specifically looking at new human-computer interactions that arise in this area.  This will be published in July or so.

I want part of the article to examine how mashups have motivated new innovations in user-interfaces and in human-computer interaction, allowing one provider to concentrate on one aspect of the UI, with another provider concentrating on another: How did this create something bigger than the sum-of-its-parts?   I know some of you have created or experienced great innovations in this space.  I'm looking for unusually creative approaches.

Please point me at applications with highly innovative user-interfaces or intriguing social effects.  It would be particularly helpful if I could interview the designers/developers by phone or email.  In exchange, I'll do my best to point people at your application or mashup.

Thanks in advance.
