From the station: 1. Leave the station taxi/bus area, and turn left. Walk past the Said Business School and keep going (Hythe Bridge Street), passing the canal on the left. 2. When the road swerves round to the left, cross over and keep going (George Street), passing the cinema, formulaic chain bars etc. etc. 3. At the big crossroads by Waterstones, turn left (Magdalen Street). 4. Debenhams, Borders and Sainsburys are on your left. Turn down a little covered passage (Friars Entry).
