My team is considering working on a project related to geocoding from satellite imagery or tracked-vehicles.  To do this right, we need a US-based geocoding science advisor, potentially to be a paid consultant.  We don't want to reinvent any wheels.  Prime candidates would be geography academics who have worked with Tiger/LINE or other similar databases, in a programming situation.  We want to understand data accuracy, available data sources, etc.

BigTribe has plenty of cred in this area; we are currently operating under a "super size" NSF SBIR Phase IIB grant involving personalized location directories.  We have some pretty cool technology in that space, as well as 3 machine-learning Ph.D.s and a pile of engineers who love geography.  No, our stuff is not yet public.

Can you possibly recommend a good geocoding person?  If you have a recommendation, we need it POST HASTE.  Thanks in advance.
