Here I am ignoring all of you while you're talking about interesting
stuff! :)
Just to add to the confusion, a while back I had started on a code
repository/sample code snippits-sort of thing. I'm implementing it
in our corporate intranet using drupal, but will roll it out my
personal site or osgeo site when I'm finished. If anyone is
interested in helping hack drupal custom content type or views for
this, or contributing input, let me know off list.

I'm still unsure which mailing list is best for this. I guess Perl
chat isn't particularly appropriate here. There's Ari's list and also
the one I set up specifically for this purpose which a few people
have subscribed to now. Unless anyone objects I'd like to continue
the conversation about tidying up the geo modules on CPAN on the list
