Great read the last couple of days - I haven't seen the list this active in a while and a lot of good topics. Since Skyhook came up, I thought I'd knock off a couple of questions/topics that people raised. (1) Kris - yes, we do run on mobile phones. A US based carrier will announce a Skyhook-enabled dual mode CDMA phone later this year. And watch out for some interesting announcements at 3GSM in Barcelona on the topic of multi-mode location technology on mobile devices. (2) Location was a big theme at CES. One of our customers, iRiver, announced a Wi-FI only portable media player complete with navigation, maps and point of interest data - and Skyhook's WPS as the location technology. See Engadget <http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/09/iriver-w10-uses-skyhook-for-wifi-based-p o> http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/09/iriver-w10-uses-skyhook-for-wifi-based-po sitioning/ and PC Magazine, CNET and others for more info. (3) Dennis - Loki for the Mac is 'on the way.' You keep hearing that from us but its honestly just been a matter of competing priorities/resources that has made it tough. We are releasing a new version of our APIs in a few weeks, however, that will let you run WPS on Linux, OS X, Symbian, Brew, etc. which help move things forward. ..............................................
