Incredible to think the images on GE are so up-to-date as to show the
existing positions
of things such at tents and land rovers. It seems irresponsible of Google to
publish
such sensitive information. In Iraq we casual users could probably live with
some older,
less specific data. 

Another worrying thing is the planning of terrorist attacks in the west,
where Google
and others pride themselves on having accurate, high resolution and current
information
available to ALL.

This will no doubt be used as an argument by some not to make accurate
public map data
freely available. But will that prevent terrorism? I seriously doubt it.
